Wednesday's Homework

Math- Naming Fractions and Equivalent Fractions: Fraction Process Problems #1- handout.
           Remember to write an expression showing the original fraction names, as well as an equation
           in which all fractions have been renamed to share a common denominator.  Add these to
          'prove' that the sum of these pieces is equal to one whole.
          Note- This was scheduled to be homework on Tuesday.  Some students may have finished it in 
          class, but should be able to share it with parents as they were asked to take it home tonight.

Language Arts-  • Write complete sentences using this week's vocabulary from Woodsong.  Study
                              this week's high frequency words.  Click on the link at the right to view the list.
                             This is due tomorrow (Thursday).

                           • Remember to read for a minimum of 30 minutes in your silent reading book.
                             Write complete sentence responses to one of the prompts for Wednesday's entry on
                             your Reading Log.
